The custom made wedding gown creation process begins with a one-on-one consultation where we discuss your ideas on style, shape, fabric, and design that match your vision and body shape. Measurements will be taken to create a pattern and a timeline established for fittings.
The initial fitting will be in a muslin facsimile of your gown which allows for how low the neckline will dip, where the waist will sit, and the choosing of other elements of the dress design.
After the initial fitting, we will begin constructing the gown. With each successive fitting, the design is further refined, tailored and trimmed.
The gown will come together in stages throughout the fittings and on your wedding day you will walk down the aisle in a dress that is truly one-of-a-kind!
Brides can also choose to put together dresses from sample design pieces. We have a Custom Style Line of Gowns that are based on corset bodices and different skirt styles that include ball gown, fit and flair, and short or long lengths. These can be customized buy changing fabrics, adding embellishments and you can choose multiple looks for the ceremony and reception by adding lace overlays or changing from long to short skirts. Each gown will follow a timeline of fittings to ensure a perfect fit for the perfect day!
