Returning to Memphis from Los Angeles, Alexandria interned at Theatre Memphis under the award-winning costume designer Andre Ward, where she developed her skills in garment construction and sewing techniques for various fabrics. She then served as wardrobe assistant at Ballet Memphis, where she worked on designing and altering bodices, dresses, trousers, jackets, and other garments for multiple performances.

Alexandria’s next position was as the Wardrobe Supervisor with Norwegian Cruise Lines in New York, where she was responsible for tailoring, alterations, and care of multiple garments for the twenty dancers of the on-board stage shows.

She worked with the casts of Wicked, Spring Awakening, Grease, and Little Mermaid at LaDuca Dance Shoes of New York, owned by Phil LaDuca, the designer of the premier flexible character shoe of the dance and theatre world. She also worked at Yvette Helin Studio, constructing built-to-order costumes valued at over $10,000 individually, including life-size costumes of Nickelodeon characters Angelica and Chucky, and Jimmy Neutron of the show Jimmy Neutron, and many more.

Alexandria expanded her repertoire by entering Carsten Aveda Institute of New York, an international education center for cosmetology and aesthetics, and currently holds licenses for cosmetology in Texas, Tennessee, New York, and North Carolina. She has studied and earned certificates in Hair Extensions, Japanese Straightening, and Makeup application. Alexandria also gained experience in makeup application for stage for both large and small venues, working with MG Hair and Make Up and participating in two bridal fashion weeks and operating a booth for two years at the NYC Make Up Trade Show.
